Maximum Yield Magazine Ceases
Long standing industry indoor gardening magazine ceases online and printed publishing

Maximum Yield is no longer publishing indoor gardening and hydroponics related media either online or in print according to a brief announcement made yesterday on “X” (formally twitter). Maximum Yield Magazine’s website confirms, with a brief message reading.
” Good Bye.
Maximum Yield has formally ceased all print and digital operations.
We are grateful for our loyal advertisers, audience and suppliers over the many years.”
For many who have been in the industry since Maximum Yield Magazine’s early days, starting around the mid to late 90’s the news marks the closing of a chapter in the industry, what some are likely to remember as “the golden years of home hydroponics”.
While more people are growing with hydroponics than ever, it seems the publication struggled to stay relevant over the last decade, with the adoption of cannabis related articles being of the biggest changes over the life span of the publication.
Besides offering a global platform both in digital and print form for aspiring hydroponics writers, Maximum Yield Magazine provided many years of highly successful indoor gardening trade shows that were a big hit with both the public and industry members alike–helping to create the industry we have before us today.
Maximum Yield was principally distributed through hydroponic retail outlets complimentary. There were several editions, including Canada, USA, French, & Spanish. There were also several “Best Of”, Industry News and Industry Directory publications printed and distributed by Maximum Yield Magazine.
As a prolific early contributor, the publication and trade shows were foundational in helping to grow a career in the industry and develop skills as a published industry writer. Forever grateful for the opportunities and lasting relationships that Maximum Yield Magazine cultivated. RIP Maximum Yield Magazine
