At Oilfields High School in Diamond Valley, one classroom is not like the others. It’s a 12-metre-long sea can that’s been transformed into a vertical farm. Inside, students are growing herbs and microgreens, and they’re selling them to local markets and restaurants. The CBC’s Allison Dempster went to check it out and meet the young green thumbs.
